The Moment It Clicked

Somewhere in the middle of my own mess, I stopped treating the war in my head like background noise and started treating it like what it actually is — a fight. A real one. With a real enemy who’d love nothing more than for you to stay quiet, stay tired, stay convinced that today’s the day he finally wins.

That’s where this design of the “Not Today Satan” came from. Not as a cute phrase for a t-shirt. But as a conscious decision to put on the gloves and fight.

Why the Snake

A nail driven straight through the skull of a snake. That image isn’t decoration. It’s the whole story compressed into one graphic. From the very beginning, God promised the serpent his head would be crushed. Not wounded. Not managed. Crushed. And it wasn’t a sword that did it — it was a nail. The same nails that held Jesus to that cross are the reason the enemy’s head is already under a heel that isn’t backing up.

So when you put that shirt on, you’re not just making a statement. You’re standing on a promise that was already kept.

This Is a Daily Fight

Here’s the tension nobody likes to talk about: the head’s crushed, but the snake still moves. He still hisses. He still shows up in the morning with the same tired lies — you’re not enough, you’re too far gone.. He’s right about one thing: he’s not going anywhere quietly.

But neither are you.

“Not Today Satan” isn’t a one-time win you frame and hang on the wall. It’s a declaration you make again THIS morning. And then again tomorrow. That’s grit. That’s picking the fight back up every single day. We weren't promised an easy life but a victorious one when we place our faith in Christ.
